Fishing and Motorcycle season are right around the corner! I love adaptive fishing and hoping to get some time at the lakes this summer! It has been years since I have personally caught a fish, so maybe this is my year! I have also been on a motorcycle several times and loved the freedom I felt! I feel so fortunate for having these experiences. So, when I was asked to make pins for the Summer Watershed Ride organized by the River Valley Trout Unlimited Chapter, I could not say no!
River Valley Trout Unlimited Chapter is a part of the National Trout Unlimited organization. They are a cold-water conservation non-profit organization. They strive to educate, protect and restore the cold-water resources in Northern and Central Wisconsin. There are chapters across the entire United States! Membership costs $35 per year. The magazine, Trout, and a calendar are included in the membership, along with opportunities for raffles!
With the help of Pookie at Bull Falls Harley Davison, Pat Esselman, the chapter treasurer, organized the Summer Watershed Ride. Covid-19 prevented their fundraising event, Fly Fishing Film Tour.
The ride will be held on July 16th. Riders can stop into Bull Falls Harley Davidson and purchase 'Ride Cards". The ride cards can be used all month, but there will be activities on July 16th. The ride will travel along the Plover and Prairie Rivers. The River Valley Trout Unlimited Chapter has been working on restoring, repairing and maintaining these fishing gems for the past 40 years!
