Jo Franz is the author of Soar Unafraid. Prior to the progression of her MS, she was a motivational speaker as well. I stumbled across this quote and it really applied to my life.
Cerebral Palsy is my limitation. It prevents me from walking and caring for myself. Cerebral Palsy will follow me through my entire life. Chances are I will always be a wheelchair user. I will always have physical obstacles others do not have.
Cerebral Palsy has also provided me with many opportunities. I have met some incredible people I would not have met if I did not have cerebral palsy. Most recently, I started this blog. I have learned so much through this experience and have met so many special people, in person and via social media.
My blogging opportunity has started me on an adventure. I am dreaming bigger than I ever have before. I dream of helping others. I dream of working positively with businesses to help improve accessibility. I dream of advocating for the disabled community. I dream of traveling to reach out to as many people as I can.
